Post Time at Fitzgerald’s, Edmonton is our Featured Site for the month of April. When Fitzgerald's first opened last October, we wrote that they were working to transform the place into a horseplayer’s haven, and they have not disappointed.

As we write more and more Featured Site articles, it is hard to not sound like a broken record. Yes, Post Time at Fitzgerald's has drink and food specials, VLTs, and simulcasts horse racing, but what sets them apart? Well first off, before you even walk in, you can tell that this place is dedicated to racing. Take a look at their signage:

The space has the best of both worlds for players… it has the quiet, secluded section for when you really need to study the program, and the social section for when you really need to show someone how close you were to picking the winner. The place is truly a haven for new and old bettors alike, and the crowd supports that.  The space is bright and open with great natural light. The whole bar is wired for racing on brand new TVs; there isn't a bad seat in the house. 

Everyone I've spoken to about Fitzgerald's has spoken highly about their good food and great service.   The bar staff, tellers and owners take customer service to a higher standard, taking the time to get to know everyone on a first name basis.  I also received a lot of great feedback about last years Breeder's Cup Party, which ensures me that Fitz has big things on the go for next weekend's Kentucky Derby.
